About Us
The Jane Doe Legal Network assists women who have experienced violence to meet their legal needs.
We are operated by Pivot Legal Society, a legal advocacy organization located in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.
At Jane Doe, we provide individual legal advice and legal education workshops in the following areas:
- immigration/refugee law
- family law
- child protection law
- criminal law
- housing law
- human rights law
We believe that our legal system needs to be reformed so that women and children have better access to the justice system.
In addition to individual legal advice, and legal education, the Jane Doe Legal Network advocates for changes to the legal system that will improve the lives of women who have experienced violence.
